The journal of Recent Advances in Medicine is an international peer-reviewed open-access journal. It is the official journal of the Faculty of Medicine for Girls Al Azhar University. The journal is published biannually in January and July.

The journal has its unique numbers of International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) which is used to identify both print and electronic versions.

It also has DOI: Digital Object Identifier (DOI) which js used to uniquely identify online each journal's article.

Accepted articles regularly cover different areas in basic medicine, pharmacology, therapeutics, and case reports. Also, review articles and original research. short medical reports, and letters to the editors will be accepted In addition to correspondence.

All manuscripts are subject to peer review and are expected to meet the standards of academic excellence. Submissions if approved by the editor will be double-blind by peer reviewers according to their specific interests.

The journal welcomes online submissions from all over the world.

The journal is published online on the Egyptian Knowledge Bank (EKB) Platform and has a dynamic electronic interactive submission, reviewing and administration system. The journal is a partner of Publons. Researchers use Publons to track their publications, citation metrics, peer reviews, and journal editing work in a single, easy-to-maintain profile.

The publication's language of the journal is English. An Arabic summary for the article is sometimes indicated upon editorial request only.

These fees cover the expenses required by the publication process, including the peer review process, journal production, publication, hosting and archiving fees. They are equal to 2500 L.E. for each article. Payment will be in two installments. The first (500L.E.) will be on submission of article, the remaining sum (2000L.E.) is to be paid on acceptance of the article for publication. To be paid within 15 days of acceptance. Payment must be fully installed by the author for the article to be published.
